• The flight change policy of Finnair applies to all fare types and passenger groups, regardless of their flight fare rules, which means even if the flight tickets are refundable and non-refundable.
• The passenger can only avail of the option of flight change if they have booked their flight ticket through the airline's official website or with the help of an agent through a customer service phone number. If the tickets are booked through any travel agent, you have to ask your agent to make the required changes to your flight ticket.
• In case of a significant delay in the scheduled flight departure with Finnair, the passengers are eligible to ask for the free changes to their booking. They are not bound to pay any charges or the change fee or any booking difference with the exchanged flight Provided by the Finnair airlines. 
• As per the Finnair Flight Change Policy, any change made in the flight that comes under the multiple fare rules of the airlines doesn't cover in the flight change policy.
• If the passengers make any changes in their scheduled flight within the 24 hours of its booking, in that case, the passengers are not liable to pay any charges for the changes made within the 24 hours.
• However, Finnair airlines allow passenger to cancel their flight for free if they have booked their flight at least seven days before the scheduled departure of the airline.
• If you make the changes in your flight within 24 hours and the new flight charges are higher than your previous flight, you are required to pay the flight difference with the airlines.
• In the name change policy of Finnair, passengers are not allowed to change the ownership of the ticket. As per the name change policy, the correction of up to three characters, the first, middle, or last name is allowed.
• If you wish to make the changes to your return flight ticket, you can only make such changes after completing the scheduled departure part of your booked ticket.
• The changes are not allowed to be made after the flight's scheduled departure and would be marked as a no-show ticket by the airlines.

Process of flight change with the Finnair via online mode

• Visit the 'Manage booking' section on the official website of Finnair.
• Enter the details like the booking confirmation number on your flight ticket and the passenger's last name. Click on the search icon to view and access your booking.
• Look for the flight itinerary you want to make the required changes.
• Select the 'change' button and make the required changes by entering the new travel details like flight time, travel dates, destination, or anything more required to be filled.
• Please select the alternate flight option for the change front available flight options on the screen.
• You may have to pay the flight change fee and the applicable flight difference if any. At the same time, you are making the changes with your ticket for Finnair.
• Follow the on-screen process to make the payment of the fee that is levied on you for making the changes in your flight ticket.
• After completing the payment process, you'll receive a confirmation mail or message on your registered email address or phone number with the airlines. And the e-ticket for your new booking will be provided to you on your registered email ID with the airlines.
